Kosciuszko National Park

Kosciuszko National Park is the largest national park in New South Wales, covering an area of approximately 690,000 hectares. Located in the southeastern corner of the state, it is about 354 km southwest of Sydney. The park encompasses rugged mountains, wilderness areas, alpine and sub-alpine ecosystems, and several major river systems including the Snowy, Murray, and Murrumbidgee Rivers. It was added to the Australian National Heritage List in 2008 as part of the Australian Alps National Parks and Reserves.

These baiting activities at Kosciuszko National Park are managed by the Clarkes Hill office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
