Abercrombie River National Park

Abercrombie River National Park, located in New South Wales, Australia, is a significant natural reserve that spans approximately 19,000 hectares. Situated 40 kms southwest of Oberon and 60 kms north of Goulburn, the park encompasses the catchments of Silent Creek and the Retreat River, along with a 42km stretch of the Abercrombie River.
The park is renowned for its diverse vegetation communities, which are representative of montane and tableland species as well as the western slopes of New South Wales. This diversity makes it an important habitat for various animal species that require large home ranges and have low domestic densities.
The baiting activities at Abercrombie River National Park are managed by the Oberon Office of the NPWS.
