Basket Swamp National Park

Basket Swamp National Park is located approximately 30km northeast of Tenterfield, bordering Boonoo State Forest to the north. The park's namesake, Basket Swamp, is a significant natural feature. It covers an area of about 200 hectares and plays a crucial role in filtering rainfall from the tablelands into the Clarence River catchment.
The baiting activities undertaken at Basket Swamp National Park are managed by the Northern Tablelands office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
