Cambewarra Range Nature Reserve

Cambewarra Range Nature Reserve is a protected area located in the Southern Highlands and South Coast regions of New South Wales. Established in 2001 and later expanded in 2003 when Devils Glen, Red Rocks, and Black Ash Nature Reserves were amalgamated into it, Cambewarra Range Nature Reserve covers an area of 1,684 hectares and includes 11 privately owned properties. It is situated between Kangaroo Valley and the coast, approximately 150 km south of Sydney, 50 km southwest of Wollongong, and 16 km northwest of Nowra. It is ecologically representative of the local area and home to temperate rainforest and threatened species, including the Brush-tailed rock-wallaby and the tiger quoll.
The baiting activities undertaken at Cambewarra Range Nature Reserve are managed by the Shoalhaven office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. This program is scheduled to run for an entire year, from 14 August 2023 to 14 August 2024.
