Girralang Nature Reserve

GROUND / CPE BAITING: 11 November 2024 - 10 May 2025

Girralang Nature Reserve is a protected area that covers an area of 640 hectares. Established in January 1999, it is located approximately 24 km north-east of Orange. Wildlife in the area is abundant, with common sightings of swamp wallabies and eastern grey kangaroos. The reserve is also home to some rarer species, with spotted-tailed quolls having been observed in the area.

The baiting activities undertaken at Girralang Nature Reserve are managed by the Central West Area office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
