Goobang National Park

GROUND / CPE BAITING: 1 September 2024 - 1 March 2025

Goobang National Park is located approximately 50kms northwest of Parkes and 300kms west of Sydney. It covers an area of approximately 42,080 hectares and is characterised by rugged terrain, including the Herveys Range, which forms part of the Great Dividing Range. It supports a variety of wildlife, including eastern grey kangaroos, red-necked wallabies, and koalas.

The baiting activities undertaken at Goobang National Park are managed by the Bathurst office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
