Guy Fawkes River National Park is a vast wilderness area located in northeastern NSW. It is located on the eastern edge of the New England Tablelands and the western edge of the Dorrigo Plateau, approximately 560 km north of Sydney. It covers an area of approximately 100,590 hectares.

The baiting activities undertaken at Guy Fawkes River National Park are managed by the Northern Tablelands office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
