Koolewong Flora Reserve

AERIAL BAITING: 26 August - 8 September 2024

Koolewong Flora Reserve is a protected area that occupies the western block of McPherson State Forest on the western edge of the Central Coast region of NSW. It is designated as Flora Reserve #202. The reserve protects important habitats for several threatened species, including gang-gang cockatoos, giant burrowing frogs, glossy black-cockatoos, koalas, powerful owls, varied sitellas, white-bellied sea eagles, and yellow-bellied gliders.

The baiting activities undertaken at Koolewong Flora Reserve are managed by the Bulga office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
