Lane Cove National Park

Lane Cove National Park is a protected national park located within metropolitan Sydney that covers an area of approximately 670 hectares. The park is home to various native bird species such as brushturkeys, kookaburras, superb fairywrens, crimson rosellas, sulphur-crested cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets, and eastern whipbirds. Other wildlife includes eastern water dragons, lace monitors, swamp wallabies, and echidnas.

The baiting activities undertaken at Lane Cove National Park are managed by the Lane Cove office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
