Mimosa Rocks National Park

Mimosa Rocks National Park is a protected area located near the towns of Tathra and Bermagui, approximately 329km southwest of Sydney. It covers an area of 5,802 hectares and extends along 20km of coastline. It features a diverse landscape of headlands, beaches, lagoons, sea caves, and offshore stacks. The park provides habitat for various threatened species, including the sooty owl, golden-tipped bat, and hooded plover. Its estuaries and lagoons are important wetlands supporting a range of waterbirds and other wildlife. Common fauna includes koalas, swamp wallabies, and ringtail possums.
The baiting activities undertaken at Mimosa Rocks National Park are managed by the Merimbula office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
