Morton National Park

Morton National Park is a large protected area located in the Southern Highlands, South Coast and Illawarra regions of New South Wales. Established in 1938, the park covers an area of approximately 199,745 hectares. It extends from Bundanoon in the north to west of Ulladulla in the south. The park is home to various wildlife, such as swamp wallabies, gliders, bush rats, and long-nosed potoroos, as well as rich birdlife, including satin bowerbirds, green catbirds, lyrebirds, eagles, and falcons.
The baiting activities undertaken at Morton National Park are managed by the Fitzroy Falls office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
