Mount Kaputar National Park

Mount Kaputar National Park is a protected area situated in the Nandewar Range, approximately 50kms east of Narrabri and 570kms northwest of Sydney. Established in 1967, Mount Kaputar National Park covers an area of approximately 36,817 hectares. It supports a diverse range of plant and animal species, including some that are unique to the area.

The baiting activities undertaken at Mount Kaputar National Park are managed by the Barwon office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
