Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve

Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve is located in the Central Tablelands region of New South Wales, approximately 35 kms northeast of Mudgee. Established in 1961, it covers an area of 5,934 hectares and is the second oldest nature reserve in Australia. It is part of the Mudgee-Wollar Important Bird Area, recognised for its high bird diversity, including the endangered regent honeyeater.
The baiting activities undertaken at Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve are managed by the Mudgee Office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
