South East Forest National Park

South East Forest National Park is a large protected area located in the South Coast and Snowy Mountains regions of New South Wales, approximately 378km southwest of Sydney. Established in 1997 by amalgamating several smaller national parks (Genoa, Tantawangalo, Bemboka, Yowaka, and Coolangubra), the South East Forest National Park covers an area of approximately 115,177 hectares. It is home to a range of threatened species, such as the smoky mouse, southern brown bandicoot, yellow-bellied glider, tiger quoll, and various species of owl.
These baiting activities undertaken at South East Forest National Park are managed by the Bombala office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
