Upper Nepean State Conservation Area

Upper Nepean State Conservation Area is located approximately 20 kms west of Wollongong and was established in 2007. Covering an area of 25,869 hectares, the conservation area is part of the Metropolitan Special Area, which plays a crucial role in protecting the Upper Nepean catchment. The conservation area is notable for being home to 13 threatened ecological communities.
The baiting activities undertaken at Upper Nepean State Conservation Area are managed by the Glenbrook Office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
