Warrumbungle National Park

Warrumbungle National Park is a heritage-listed national park located in the Orana region of New South Wales, approximately 550km northwest of Sydney. It was first proclaimed as a reserve in 1953 and became a national park in 1967. It was added to the Australian National Heritage List in December 2006. The park is home to various species, including koalas.
The baiting activities undertaken at Warrumbungle National Park are managed by the Castlereagh office of the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
