Washpool National Park

Washpool National Park is a protected area located in the New England region of NSW, approximately 520 km north of Sydney. Established in 1983, it covers an area of approximately 58,678 hectares. It is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area (inscribed in 1986) and was added to the Australian National Heritage List in 2007.

The baiting activities undertaken at Washpool National Park are managed by the Northern Tablelands office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
