Wollemi State Conservation Area

Wollemi State Conservation Area, located within the boundaries of Wollemi National Park in New South Wales, is part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. The diverse habitats of the Wollemi State Conservation Area provide refuge for numerous wildlife species. Notable fauna includes eastern grey kangaroos, swamp wallabies, koalas, and a rich diversity of bird species such as the powerful owl, glossy black-cockatoo, and the superb lyrebird. The area also supports a variety of reptiles and amphibians.
The aerial baiting activities undertaken at Wollemi State Conservation Area are managed by the Bulga office of the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
