Hunter Wetlands National Park

Hunter Wetlands National Park is a significant wildlife sanctuary located near Newcastle. It covers two distinct sections: the Kooragang area in the east and the Hexham Swamp / Burraghihnbihng in the west. It encompasses approximately 45 hectares of internationally significant wetlands.

The baiting activities undertaken at Hunter Wetlands National Park are managed by the Lower Hunter office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
