Toorale State Conservation Area

Toorale State Conservation Area is a protected area located in the far-west region of NSW, approximately 80 kms southwest of Bourke. It covers an area of 54,385 hectares and is adjacent to Toorale National Park, near the junction of the Darling and Warrego rivers. It was previously part of Toorale Station, a large pastoral property, but was converted to a conservation area in 2008 when the NSW Government purchased the land.

The baiting activities undertaken at Toorale State Conservation Area are managed by the Bourke office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
