Toorale National Park

GROUND BAITING: 23 October - 23 December 2024

Toorale National Park is a protected area located in the far-west region of NSW, approximately 80 kms southwest of Bourke, adjacent to Gundabooka National Park and Toorale State Conservation Area. It is situated at the junction of the Darling and Warrego rivers and covers an area of 30,866 hectares. It is home to least 28 species of mammals, including kangaroos and various bat species, as well as rich birdlife, reptiles, and amphibians.

The baiting activities undertaken at Toorale National Park are managed by the Bourke office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
