Mundoonen Nature Reserve

Mundoonen Nature Reserve is a protected area located in the Central Tablelands, approximately 70 kilometers north of Canberra. Established in February 1970, the reserve covers an area of 1,485 hectares. The reserve serves as a habitat for a variety of native animals, including birdlife, mammals, and reptiles. Notably, the reserve is home to threatened species such as koalas and powerful owls.
The baiting activities undertaken at Mundoonen Nature Reserve are managed by the Queanbeyan office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
