Dharug National Park

Dharug National Park is a protected area located in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, approximately 81km north of Sydney and 25km west of Gosford. The park covers an area of 14,850 hectares and is bounded by Yengo National Park. It contains a section of the Great North Road, which is one of eleven UNESCO World Heritage-listed Australian Convict Sites. This 16 km stretch of road, including Devine's Hill and Finch's Line sections, was inscribed on the World Heritage register in July 2010. The park is home to diverse wildlife, including birds like gang-gang cockatoos, satin bowerbirds, and green catbirds. Nocturnal animals such as yellow-bellied gliders, greater gliders, and sugar gliders can also be found.
The baiting activities undertaken at Dharug National Park are managed by the Wollemi Yengo office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
