Parr State Conservation Area
AERIAL BAITING: 26 August - 8 September 2024
Parr State Conservation Area is located in the Central Coast region of NSW, approximately 100kms north of Sydney and near the towns of Wisemans Ferry and St Albans. The area is home to a rich diversity of wildlife. Notable fauna includes eastern grey kangaroos, swamp wallabies, and a variety of reptiles such as the eastern water dragon. Birdlife is abundant, with species like the glossy black-cockatoo, powerful owl, and various honeyeaters commonly sighted.
The baiting activities undertaken at Parr State Conservation Area are managed by the Bulga office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
